At Shelf Life Books June 7 I attended a lively, social dual book launch.

Cecelia Frey launched Donna Quilty of Paradise, Saskatchewan a "playful deconstruction of picaresque fiction."

a collection of poetry inspired by artifacts found in an ex-husband's home.

Many years ago Cecelia taught me in a poetry course through the Alexandra Writer's Centre located, at that time, in Inglewood. I remember her kind encouragement, which she has continued every time I have seen her since.
