Day 5 A video instead - Laying Down My Burden

Today's NaPoWriMo challenge: "write a poem in which laughter comes at what might otherwise seem an inappropriate moment – or one that the poem invites the reader to think of as inappropriate."

My only thoughts are so wildly dark and inappropriate that I cannot put them in a blog.

Instead here's a 2 minute video of an open mic at the People's Poetry Festival at cSpace on March 31/23 hosted by Calgary's Poet Laureate Wakefield Brewster.

I'm reading Laying Down My Burden.
