Na/GloPoWriMo Thank you for the inspiration!

Combining a Georgia O'Keefe image with an Anne Carson poem the instructions "write a poem that directly addresses someone, and that includes a made-up word, an odd/unusual simile, a statement of “fact,” and something that seems out of place in time."

The Mysterious Allure of Being Green

Calculus can't calculate your rate

of change from amphibial

composure to exasPiggyation.

of lovers and dreamers

making rainbow connections.

Your supple velvet viridescence radiates.

Geometry alone can explain the result

when your angles meet her curves.
